PROJECTS
RESIDENCIES
 |
Artistic
Residencies will be organized in Belgium, Greece and
France, offering to European artists and art critics the
best conditions for accomplishing their work of reflection
and creation.
Three kinds of residencies will be organised within the project
in order to approach creation through the different ways of
production.
The Artist-in-residence programme,
organised in the former military camp of KODRA (Greece),
invites artists coming from regions undergoing political and
historical turmoil to create in-situ projects. This
residence promotes the principle of a peaceful coexistence
through cultural partnerships.
The residence for young sculptor in Liège (Belgium) will gather not only local artists
but also young artists coming from other European countries.
The aim is to focus on the new practices in the field of
sculpture and promote little known artists.
Residencies of artists and art critics
in Strasbourg (France) will offer the possibility to
students to participate actively in the setting up of one
exhibition and to open a discussion on the art critic
profession.
The residence will act also as a
preparatory work for the project
One
Critic, One Artist, One Artwork, where the art critic
and the artist work together on the concept and the
interpretation of the artist’s production.
This project is made possible
thanks to the collaboration of
Marc
Bloch University of Strasbourg (France).
Workshops will be organised for the students with the art
critic and the artist selected.
