Multum
in Parvo is a Latin phrase that means the biggest in the
smallest. There is also a magic trick that a big glass of
milk is emptied in a small glass without overflowing. That
is the spirit, that from the very beginning 7 years ago,
stimulates all its actions. Remain small, contain a lot, be
flexible and work on a broad spectrum of artistic and
scientific activities. There are three pillars of actions.
The first one is contemporary art
activities and multidisciplinary actions. Production of
artworks, short films, performances etc
The second is consultancy services
and studies in the fields of cultural policy and management,
youth creativity, non formal educational programs, museology
(for museums set up and upgrade).
The third is scientific research.
A laboratory on electromagnetic influences on human body is
hosted within the company. Also it provides services in
designing and supervises implementation cultural portals and
provides artistic and cultural content in the field of
information technology.
It is a company that

Objectives
The objectives of Multum in Parvo are to bring arts and
sciences closer to the audience which it is seen as user.
This of course not only at a local approach but in a more
European level so experience, creativity and information
will easily be shared by the citizens creating that way new
ideas and cultural familiarization. The same time it points
out the uniqueness of each region in each part of the
European cultural mosaic.
Role in ARTVENTURE, visual art network
The role of Multum in Parvo to ARTVENTURE network is to use
its existing large network of theoreticians, curators and
experience in information technology. Also the geopolitical
position of Cyprus as the last European frontier towards the
Middle East could be used as a platform to investigate the
artistic and cultural landscape of the neighbouring
countries.
More specific two conferences with round tables will be
implemented, one exhibition will be set up at the end of the
program, prepare a publication in collaboration with the
rest of the partners, supervise the technical platform for
partners communication and the digital archive for the
artists that the curators will collect from all prospective
missions.
