apollonia, european art exchanges (Strasbourg, France) and Love Difference (Biella, Italia) relying on their networks join forces in order to launch in May-June 2008 in Strasbourg an important event entitled “Cultural Dialogue: Utopias and Situations”.
It will begin with an exhibition of works by Michelangelo Pistoletto in apollonia venue, in order to present the basis of Pistoletto’s global concept of art and its social and political extension.
It will be followed up with a conference and a round table (25-26 June) on the question of Intercultural Dialogue that will bring together participants from all over Europe and Mediterranean area – artists, representatives of cultural institutions, politicians…
The basis of the discussion would be Michelangelo Pistoletto idea of an “InterMediterranean Cultural Parliament” – a tool pointing out the role of the artist in the Intercultural Dialogue and artist’s impact on the society and its evolution.
